The Red Sox have finally broken the so-called curse against them and won the World Series. Yea! Now maybe next year the Chicago Cubs will win and get rid of the so-called curse of the billy goat against them.
It was unfortunate that the World Series was so anticlimactic after a wonderful baseball playoff. I am not against Boston winning but a sweep in the World Series sure doesn't leave much excitement. And now there's no sports at all with the nHL gone!
I have to admit I would have preferred it if St. Louis would have won a couple of games so that the Red Sox could have won the Series in front of their home fans. That would have been more exciting.
I am happy the red socks won, I think they deserved it. They played their hearts out, which was good. I am not a huge fan of baseball but this whole thing took me by storm hahaha! Anyway I do agree with some in saying that it would have been nice to see them win in front of a home crowd. I am sure bostone celibrated though, lol! And leaffan, don't talk to me about the NHL... I miss it, it hurts!

that's why there is the american hockey league.
it's just as good as the NHL, and there are a lot of players hockey fans should recognize.
I do believe The Chicago Wolves are getting Chris Chelios if all goes well.
